Brian Fahey b. 1919

Born Margate, Kent. He worked asn arranger for Chappells, the music publisher, then Cinephonic Music in the 1950s, then as a freelance arranger and conductor. From 1972 to 1981 he was principal conductor of the BBC Scottish Radio Orchestra. He has a large catalogue of original composition, from jingles to full scale orchestral works, as well as theme tunes for radio and television, including The Creep, Fanfare Boogie, and At the Sign of the Swingin' Cymbal.
